2016 VW CCThe next generation VW CC has been confirmed recently. It even rumored that the new design is likely to share a lot of its styling features with Audi A7. the company’s officials revealed that two possible variants were being considered, one of them being a fastback version. Although the timing is yet to be confirmed, the new model is likely to be launched as the 2016 VW CC. Of course it is quite different from Passat but it could cover the needs for its fans even though the level of its luxury is still lower than Passat.

Rumors for exterior and interior 2016 VW CC

New 2016 VW CC It will be new with a very similar design as Audi A7. Other rumors said that the car is coming with some versions such as fastback model. Another comparable design for this new version is Passat. CC design is smaller and it is intended to cover the gap between upper-class car and middle-class. The overall curves of the CC successfully integrates the flowing roof with cuts and edges that convey shapely class and luxury. Highlights of the second CC generation will include all-LED headlights and taillights, trapezoidal exhaust, wider tracks and strong shoulders lines. In addition, High-quality materials adorn the cabin, an important feature considering that the CC is going up against some impressive sedans. Likewise, the metal trim accents, the leather trim, and plush and comfortable seats, all play their parts in the impressive configuration of the interior.

2016 VW CC Engine

As for the engine, the 2016 VW CC carries two engines: a 2.0-liter, inline-four, turbocharged engine and a bigger 3.6-liter, V-6 engine. The former produces 200 horsepower at 5,100 rpm and 207 pound-feet of torque at 1,700 rpm while the latter delivers 280 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 265 pound-feet of torque.

2016 VW CC Release Date and Price

2016 VW CC is expected to appear on the North American market shortly after its European debut. The base model is likely for about $35,000. In order to lower the costs, the German company is even considering to move the production to the U.S. or Mexico.
